BACKGROUND TharpeRobbins, a global leader in the managed employee reward and recognition industry, relied heavily on external vendors for the majority of its print work in 2009 when the company decided to establish an in-house print facility to offset these costs and streamline its operations. As part of evaluating potential print providers, TharpeRobbins emphasized the need for a solution that could print high-quality information packets on a variety of substrates with various finishing options. 
The company’s primary print vendor at the time was located in Massachusetts and delivered most jobs via a Konica Minolta bizhub PRO C6500 Color Production Print System, thus it was an easy decision to consider Konica Minolta as part of the evaluation process. Capitalizing on the benefits of the Konica Minolta systems, the company was able to print the majority of its materials in house at fast speeds and with exceptional color quality. The Konica Minolta bizhub PRO C6501’s could also handle a broad range of substrates from high-gloss brochures, to 12×18 inch sheets at high speeds without compromising the superior standard of quality that it required.
