The other day I popped in on Konica Minolta’s open house here in Rochester after an invitation by Ray Gaffney. These guys have come a long way in just a few years since they officially opened an office. What once was a sparsely decorated fairly empty building is now fully furnished and bustling with action. They’ve transformed this simple workplace into a flashy high-tech series of rooms filled with technology.

What used to be a single rep and six or seven techs working from home offices is now a brimming company with almost 30 people and more coming. The office next door is empty and there are plans to expand even further.

The first thing you see when you walk in is the CubePro 3D printer. Not far from there is a large format KIP printer and then the big iron – a bizhubPRO C1100,

Lots of customers showed up to this event on a pretty nasty day in Rochester and they closed a lot of business. Nice job guys and thanks for the invite!

Here are my pictures of the event.
