FAIRFIELD, N.J. – September 19, 2019 Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc., one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced it was awarded the 2019 Channel Champion award by the Business Technology Association (BTA), at a BTA event in NYC. The Channel Champion award recognizes a vendor that brought BTA the most new dealer members during a campaign period: February 1 – July 31, 2019. Reaffirming Kyocera’s commitment to fostering a prosperous and strong future for the independent dealer channel, Kyocera introduced more dealers than any other vendor during this

campaign period.

The award was presented at the associaton’s recent Grand Slam event to Kyocera President and CEO Oscar Sanchez by 2018-19 BTA National President John Eckstrom. Eckstrom is president of a valued dealer partner of Kyocera’s in the Southeast through his successful dealership Carolina Business Equipment. Grand Slam was held Sept. 12- 13 at the Sheraton New York Times Square.

BTA’s networking and educational events, which are scheduled around the country throughout the year, are designed for independent office technology dealers. The events provide dealers with opportunities to meet and discuss new ideas, and participate in educational sessions presented by industry leaders.
