The TASKalfa 6002i Series is built to handle the document-production requirements of medium- sized and large workgroups. The 60-ppm, 50-ppm, and 40-ppm models all feature true 1200×1200 dpi and Kyocera’s ultra-reliable a-Si drum technology. There is wide media support from statement to 12×18, and a scalable paper supply of up to over 7,000 sheets.

“These are the features our customers require for their monochrome document imaging needs,” explained Douglas Cole, Director of Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing Group for KYOCERA Document Solutions America.

All three models provide WiFi-Direct and NFC support for Android mobile devices. They are HyPAS-enabled, ready to run Apple AirPrint®, Google Cloud PrintTM, Kyocera Mobile Print, and 60+ other business applications offered by Kyocera.

The 9-inch, 90-degree-tilt touch-screen and intuitive, tablet-like interface make for a straightforward user experience. There is also an ingenious, environmentally friendly toner cartridge replacement system. Empty black toner containers can be re-used as waste toner containers, reducing storage requirements and minimizing landfill waste.

All models in the TASKalfa 6002i series are Kyocera Fleet Services-ready. Kyocera Fleet Services (KFS) is a comprehensive cloud-based monitoring service that allows authorized dealers to handle many maintenance tasks for their customers without time-consuming on-site visits. Through KFS, dealers can anticipate issues and resolve them before they occur, and even update firmware remotely during off-hours, maximizing uptime across the entire fleet.

“These advanced features are impressive, and the traditional features are going to exceed our customers’ expectations as well,” Cole concluded.

The TASKalfa 6002i Series is available through authorized Kyocera dealers at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $11,228 for the TASKalfa 6002i, $9,545 for the TASKalfa 5002i,
