(Las Vegas NV, 29 April 2015): May 14 is the kick-off for RT Media’s 2015 two-day Imaging Summit & Expo at the South Point Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Support in developing the Summit has been provided by the Graphic Communication Institute at Cal Poly (State University).

An international contingent of speakers will present on the latest issues facing the inkjet, toner, cartridge, and commercial printing industry geared to the interests of service providers and OEMs. More specifically, topics covered will include material science development; legal issues related to recent court cases, patent trolls and intellectual property; OPM drum and dongle gear issues; waste and environmental issues; aftermarket concerns; trends impacting consumables; facing the decline of printed pages; the “new information age”; inkjet vs. traditional print technologies; mergers and acquisitions; and remanufacturing.

The Summit’s keynote speaker will be Daniel Burmeister, former Washington Redskins Super Bowl player and Eastman Kodak’s Director of Sales for the Extended Materials Business.
