Dealers Should Seriously Consider Attending EFI’s Connect Conference in Las Vegas, Jan. 17–20; EFI Offers Discount and Show Tour to Subscribers of The Cannata Report

By Frank G. Cannata – In 2004 we were invited to attend EFI’s first Connect Conference in Las Vegas. While we understood the importance of EFI’s contribution to the success of the transition of the copier from an analog to a digital device, we were not quite sure why we received this invitation to a user conference with more than 130 seminars on Fiery technology, workflow, and how to maximize the potential of the hardware.

Why We Went

We were introduced to Connect by Frank Mallozzi EFI’s senior vice president of Worldwide Sales. We originally met Mallozzi in the early 1990s when he was selling the Canon CLC1, one of the first connected color copiers. He would later move to Ricoh before landing with EFI in 1998.
