Panasonic held a series of scanner road shows, visiting four cities as they updated dealers on their portfolio and products that will be coming in the next few months.
Over 80 people from imaging dealers from Charlotte, Clearwater, Columbus and Oklahoma City got to hear from industry experts on scanning from partner companies like Bob Brown from Scan Optics, who gave an overview on managed capture services. Later, Chad Seefeld from Psygen did a presentation on document capture. I closed the day with a session on social media strategies for dealers and the doors they open.
Lots of new products are coming from Panasonic, including some serious high-end production scanners that scan at duplex speeds up 230 ipm. Options like a Kofax module and others make these scanners fit right into a workflow.
