CHICO, CA – NOVEMBER 1, 2017 — Locally owned and operated business technology provider, The Ray Morgan Company announces today the launch of “The Ray Morgan Company Northern California Fire Relief Fund” to aid local charities and relief organizations in the area impacted by the Northern California wildfires. The Ray Morgan Company’s ownership group is personally donating $30,000 and will be matching employee, vendor and business associate’s donations with a minimum pledge of $200,000 and a goal of $250,000.
“We’re dedicated to help those in our Northern California communities affected by this unimaginable tragedy, said Greg Martin, President of the Ray Morgan Company. “As pledges from both our vendors and employees are continuing to come in. We’re also encouraging our business associates and friends to join our efforts.”
Additionally, the Ray Morgan Company is also making available for loan at no-cost: printers, copiers and water filtration systems to those in need.
RMC is working with local officials to direct the funding to the local nonprofit organizations where it will have the greatest impact in communities. Entities that the Ray Morgan Company will be working with include Red Cross (Sonoma County Chapter), REFG (Redwood Empire Food Bank) and others in need.
