Screen Shot 2015-08-24 at 4.08.41 PMI just passed 300,000 pages on our way to a million on Samsung’s newest monochrome copier / MFP the MultiXpress K7600.

The device has performed amazingly so far. Not a single service call in over 300k pages! That’s an average of over 20,000 pages a day over 14 days!

I’m going to take a break with the device as the fuser unit is now past it’s published yield and I have a code on the screen saying to replace it. I don’t want to push it past it’s published yields, although the Samsung techs told me they didn’t believe doing so would hurt they machine.

They did say image quality may start to become a factor after 300k pages so I’m waiting until my buddies come back to run their PM.

This is not an emergency service item but part of typical preventative maintenance and will not affect my ultimate goal of printing and copying a million pages without an emergency service call.

So far the machine is the first out of the five I’m testing to hit the 300k mark.
