Are you more the classic water cooler type, or has your workplace adopted the new ways and brought in video game consoles and foosball tables? Personally, if there’s a little nook in the kitchen with a good selection of teas, that’s me sorted. Whatever gets your office up and talking, the importance of having a good meeting place can’t be understated — when everyone’s up and talking and in good spirits, you know you’ll be getting the best results.
What we’re saying is, we want to avoid meeting places that, well, should have never become meeting places. What are we talking about? Slow printers. When the office printer has as hard a time waking up as anyone else on a Monday, that means you’ll still be having employees gather in the same spot — they just won’t be real happy about it.
