Xerox Corp. has agreed to sell a French research facility focused on developing artificial intelligence, and related technologies, to a South Korean internet search company.

Naver Corp. has agreed to purchase the Xerox Research Centre Europe, otherwise known as XRCE, near Grenoble, France, for an undisclosed amount. Roughly 80 Xerox workers are expected to join Naver as part of the move.

The deal, which is subject to customary approvals, is expected to close in the third quarter of this year. Xerox plans to license intellectual property developed at the facility to Naver.
