A lot of 3D printer manufacturers are targeting the education sector and it makes sense. 3D printing inspires students and motivates them to learn. Instructors love the improved motivation. But teachers often struggle to figure out how to incorporate 3D printing into their curriculum. How would it work, how would they manage the printers, recover costs and prevent misuse?

Y Soft partners with Technical School in Prosek, Prague, to study and understand the unique challenges 3D printing can have in education. The results were instrumental in the final development of YSoft be3D eDee, a solution that integrates print management and an accounting system specifically designed for Education.

Earlier this month, Y Soft and Technical School in Prosek, announced the results of the field study in an event that also opened up the 3D printing classroom to all other schools in the Prague area. The goal is to share their know-how and experience with Y Soft 3D print solutions with other school administrators and instructors.

Y Soft created a case study based on the field study. Find out what they learned about using 3D printers in the classroom, in their curriculum.
